Security+ Practice Exams

CompTIA Security+ (SY0-701) is the global benchmark for validating the baseline skills necessary to perform core security functions and pursue an IT security career. The exam covers five domains: General Security Concepts (security controls, the CIA triad, zero trust, cryptography, and PKI), Threats, Vulnerabilities, and Mitigations (threat actors, attack types, social engineering, and mitigation techniques), Security Architecture (secure network and cloud design, resilience, and data protection), Security Operations (identity and access management, hardening, monitoring, vulnerability management, and incident response), and Security Program Management and Oversight (governance, risk management, third-party risk, and compliance). The performance-based and multiple-choice exam has a maximum of 90 questions in 90 minutes, and a passing score of 750 on a scale of 100–900. CompTIA recommends CompTIA Network+ and two years of IT experience with a security focus.
