CCNA Automation (DevNet Associate)
The associate-level automation and programmability exam, formerly DevNet Associate (DEVASC) and renamed CCNA Automation in February 2026 with the exam number unchanged. It covers software development and design including Python and data formats, understanding and using REST APIs, Cisco platforms and their APIs across Webex, Meraki, Catalyst Center, ACI, NX-OS and IOS XE, application deployment and security including Docker, CI/CD and the OWASP Top 10, infrastructure and automation with NETCONF, RESTCONF, YANG and Ansible, and the network fundamentals an automation engineer is expected to know.
